Weeks 10-13 at an Ivy League
After Halloween, the election came and Trump won. From there things just kind of spirals. I became extremely concerned about where we were going as a country. I made several videos about what I felt would ultimately come (the targeting of the 13th & 14th amendments. )
When a country shows you who it is believe them.. the 1st time
What’s in store once immigrants deported
Once the election came, I just couldn’t muster the creativity to write my weekly blog. In hindsight I see I should have written something, because now, its 2025 and I never hot a chance to capture the raw emotion of the moment.
People on campus were feeling it, people all over seemed to be either devastated, numb, or elated. I had a relationship very close to me who I had spoken to several times since the the election and there was something strange about the energy. I shifted out of the relationship.

A few short viral clips
I made a few short clips which went viral. A european american gets very comfortable with an asian man and speaks some shocking truths.
FINAL EXAM
I pulled an all-nighter and practiced my trauma final live
Basically I compared the data on the trauma of POW’s and black people in america and juxtaposed it against the behavior of soldiers who were traumatized in war. There are many similarities.
All in all my first semester was a success. I learned a lot about psych theory and the fathers of psychotherapy. I fell in love with the concept of “Self Theory” or Theory of the Self. And whether there is a “Static Self” and if its not static, then can we purposefully shift and change it to be who we choose to be. This was the theme at the retreat I held at the end of December.
To be honest, once I dove into semester things moved rather quickly a semester is pretty short 14 weeks – about 3.5 month. Once midterms came around I had to truly dig in and study. I found an old library on campus which looked like a scene from a Harry Potter movie… equipped with spiral staircases which led up into stacks of books. It was magical.
As the semester came to a close and I started to prepare to curate my courses for the next semester, I came to a disappointing reality in week 14
